Copeland ex rum casks
These ex rum casks are filled with Copeland new make designed to absorb immediate tropical sweetness and soft spice from the rum-seasoned wood. Early maturation typically shows notes of molasses, vanilla, caramelised fruit and gentle baking spice, layered over a light, modern spirit base.
As they mature, these casks are expected to develop greater depth and integration, with the rum influence evolving into richer fruit sweetness and rounded oak structure. They are well suited to flavour-led maturation strategies where early character definition is a key advantage.
